Falling Film Plate Evaporators
APV Falling Film Plate Evaporators are widely recognized as the industry standard for producing premium products.
FEATURES
Combining all the advantages of the APV Rising/Falling Film Plate Evaporator with an even shorter residence time, the APV Falling Film Plate Evaporator is widely recognized as the industry standard for producing premium products. Our falling film plate evaporator features a patented distribution system that ensures even distribution of the product across the plate. This allows for low required wetting rates and an easy single-pass design.
There are three plate sizes with water removal capacities ranging from 2,000 to 60,000 lbs/hr (907 to 27,216 kg/h). Multiple-effect or MVR (mechanical vapor recompression) configurations can be utilized due to the very low-temperature difference required.
